I was born and raised on the southern Gulf Coast of Texas. My first career after graduation was teaching world history to high school students.  As I taught the great civilizations, I found they were like the people I saw in my daily life: they all have ambitions, obstacles and setbacks but they ultimately find the best in themselves and persevere. My passion as a counselor is to help you find that breakthrough that enables you to achieve and overcome any obstacles, just like one of those great civilizations.

My path has led me to become a professional counselor holding various positions within the private and public sectors. I believe in using the science of behavioral activation to reach positive outcomes for my client. I offer different treatment methods for all personality types.
